The National Curriculum is based on three (3) broad major strands called NUMBER, SPACE & MEASUREMENT. These are then divided into 19 sub-strands. Each of the nineteen sub-strands is further subdivided into the concepts and ideas that are required for understanding. At the end of each sub-strand there are five exercises graded progressively from easy, to build up confidence for weaker students, through to extension (for more talented students) with all solutions given.
